The Coming Years

As the market for sustainable energy grows, an industry for the effective transport of turbines has grown alongside it. Wind Systems Magazine described a new vessel that will eliminate many of the challenges of turbine transport: the Aeroscraft designed by Worldwide Aeros Corp is a lightweight aircraft that can bear 66 tons of cargo load. Its capabilities combine those of existing aircrafts, in that it can takeoff and land vertically, carry large payloads, and is resistant to puncturing. Who knows: maybe the Aeroscraft will one day be a viable option for the international shipment and delivery of turbine parts, helping sustainable energy practices reach their full potential across the globe.
