Unfortunately, it’s also home to an ongoing war that has earned the title of “Africa’s world war,” and much of the profit earned by the country’s lucrative mines directly funds ongoing war efforts. In an effort to curb this cycle of bloodshed, a number of big tech companies have committed to eliminating violence from their supply chains -- but Intel is the first to actually achieve this objective.
